Another weekend has come and gone. For those of us part of the 9-5 grind the real world starts back up tomorrow.

We finally had some good weather this weekend in Toronto so if you managed to find something to do outside instead of watching the Blue Jays I don’t blame you one bit.

Our weekly review of the week that was for the Blue Jays should drop tomorrow but since it’s Sunday night (or Monday morning depending when you are reading this) I thought you might need something to lift your spirits. The Blue Jays were defeated tonight 2-1 in 10 innings by the Tampa Bay Rays to drop their record to 57-67 despite a solid performance from starter Todd Redmond. This means that the Jays have lost yet another series at the seemingly impenetrable Tropicana Field.

Lots has gone on in the past seven days that we’ve already covered so I figured why not cap off the weekend with some of the best Blue Jays GIFs of the week? Or as it turns out, the Brett Lawrie GIFs of the week with a special guest appearance from Kevin Pillar.

Brett Lawrie being awesome. If he ever breaks someone’s hand with a fist pound I would not be the slightest bit surprised. The last two weeks his triple slash is .435/.469/.587… ridiculous.

Kevin Pillar is still searching for his first MLB hit but this was one of his two spectacular plays on defense last week. Sit down Dustin Pedroia.

Not sure if Brett’s been drinking more or less Red Bull lately but it’s amazing how detailed bobbleheads are these days eh? The resemblance is uncanny!
