Consider yourself a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays? Think you can handle writing about the team and that you have what it takes to be a part of the Jays Journal team? Well, now might be your chance to prove what you can do.

Jays Journal is searching for new writers and this could be your opportunity to join one of the biggest and fastest growing Blue Jays sites around.

While no formal writing experience is necessarily required for our Staff Writer roles (just a solid understanding of the game, the team, and writing in general is needed), we’re also seeking someone with some experience to take the helm here at JJ as the site’s Editor. Jared MacDonald, the strong voice who’s been leading the JJ team for the past few months, has stepped back into a Senior Staff Writer role which has opened this unique opportunity for the right individual.

Interested? Head over and complete FanSided’s application and someone will be in touch from there. Questions about the roles, the site, or anything else FanSided MLB-related? Feel free to send an email to our Editorial Director Aaron Somers or reach out to one of the JJ staffers.

Update: The open Editor role has been filled, as Mat Germain will be returning to the role after a few months away from JJ. Many of you readers will be familiar with Mat’s work but please be sure to welcome him back accordingly.
