Portland Sea Dogs (55-84)   –   1

On the outside looking in come playoff time, the Fisher Cats ended their year on the right note. Roemon Fields doubled while Christian Lopes, Ian Parmley, Jason Leblebijian, Dwight Smith Jr., and Reese McGuire added singles.

Dunedin Blue Jays

Following a successful season, the Dunedin Blue Jays are due to open the playoffs against the Tampa Yankees on Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Lansing Lugnuts (69-71)   –   3
Lake County Captains (72-68)   –   4

Lansing’s season ended with a walk-off loss in the bottom of the ninth, but starter Angel Perdomo ended his season on a high note. The tall Dominican left-hander brought his ERA at the level down to 3.19 by pitching six innings of two-hit, shutout ball. Perdomo struck out seven batters and walked three. Tom Robson (1.0 IP, ER) and Jackson Lowery (L, 1.1 IP, 4 H, 3 ER) followed in relief.

Connor Panas also ended his season with a bang, hitting a two-run blast for his 16th home run of the season. Carl Wise added his ninth, a solo shot. At the heart of the order, Joshua Palacios and J.B. Woodman both recorded two hits and have made a very good first impression on the Blue Jays’ organization since being drafted earlier this summer.
