Buffalo Bisons (58-60)   –   2
Indianapolis Indians (59-61)   –   3

Buffalo managed just two runs on their 11 hits due in large part to their inability to work a walk. Andy Burns and Dalton Pompey had an RBI apiece, both going 1-for-4, while Ryan Goins, Matt Dominguez, and Domonic Brown all went 2-for-4. Goins doubled twice and moved his triple-A average to .309.

Chris Leroux got the start, allowing three runs on seven hits over six innings and striking out five. Matt Dermody pitched two scoreless innings to move his ERA to 2.08 (1.54 across A+, AA, AAA) and Chad Girodo closed it out with a clean ninth.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats (54-62)   –   5
Bowie Baysox (50-67)   –   6

Dwight Smith Jr. was a terror on the bases, stealing four bags in a 2-for-3 day with two walks. Emilio Guerrero hit a two run home run and Christian Lopes followed with a two-run job of his own. Richard Urena singled, walked, and drove in one.

Taylor Cole allowed three runs on seven hits over five innings, striking out three and walking three. Murphy Smith worked one and two-thirds scoreless before Wil Browning gave up two runs in his one and a third. Colton Turner (0.1 IP, 2 H, ER) took the loss, giving up a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth.

Anthony Alford bumped his average up to .236 with a 2-for-4 day that included his 16th double of the season. Jonathan Davis tripled, going 2-for-4 with a run, while Danny Jansen and L.B. Dantzler were responsible for the RBI.

Conor Fisk gave the D-Jays a quality start, pitching six and two-thirds innings of two-run ball with just five hits against and three strikeouts. Brad Allen (0.2 IP, K) bridged the gap to Tim Mayza, who struck out two over one and a third scoreless for the win.

Lansing Lugnuts (60-56)   –   4
West Michigan Whitecaps (60-51)   –   2

Lane Thomas continued a recent surge with a three-hit game, scoring once and driving in one. Juan Kelly, who always clutters up the box score, was 1-for-2 with two walks and his 10th stolen base of the season. Andrew Guillotte hit his 24th double of the season and singled.

Ryan Borucki had another great start, throwing five innings with five strikeouts and just one hit against on 67 pitches. Dan Lietz held the line with three scoreless frames (2 K) before handing off to Andrew Case (1.0 IP, 3 H, 2 ER).

Vancouver Canadians (20-32)   –   7
Everett AquaSox (28-24)   –   16

With 23 runs and 33 hits, it was a bad day to be a pitcher in Vancouver. J.B. Woodman hit his first home run in his first at-bat of the game but left the game prior to his next appearance. Joshua Palacios went 3-for-5 with two RBI. Jacob Anderson and Christian Williams each picked up a pair of hits.

Dalton Rodriguez was the first of six pitchers to throw, allowing seven runs (five earned) in one and a third. Grayson Hartman then took the brunt of the damage, allowing seven earned runs and recording just two outs. Gabe Noyalis, Geno Encina, Evan Smith, and Nick Hartman combined to get the Canadians through.
