The Buffalo Bisons continued their onslaught on the International league.  Wednesday night the Bisons beat the Pawtucket Red Sox 8-3 behind the strength of another Randy Wolf win.  Yes that Randy Wolf!  The willy veteran is having a resurgence pitching for the Buffalo Bisons thus far.  The vintage Wolf is now 3 and 0 for the season.  The offense continues to role as Chris Colabello popped a 2-run shot in the 9th inning to ensure the victory.  Colabello’s homerun was his 3rd which leads the team.  He also went 4 for 5 with a total of 4 RBI in the game.  Andy Burns also drove in 2 runners with a pair of singles.  This is the first series win for the Bisons over the PawSox since 2008.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats failed to squeak by the Trenton Thunder last night.  They were able to compile 6 hits but failed to dent the Thunder pitching.  Taylor Garrison for the Thunder pitched 5 innings and gave up the only run on a Jake Fox homerun.  Casey Lawrence failed to settle in and allowed 7 hits.  He walked 3 also and was only charged the one earned run.  Both Thunder runs were scored with Lawrence on the mound.  Matt West and Danny Barnes pitched a shut out inning each to finish the game.

Down in Dunedin the Blue Jays fell to the Daytona Tortugas.  The Jays only managed 3 hits against Tortuga pitching.  All three hits were off of Sal Ramano in the first 6 innings.  The bats were silent the entire game.  Luis Santos was sent packing by the Tortuga attack after 2.2 innings.  Two home runs and 5 earned runs put the Jays in a big hole to start the game.  The bullpen pitched well for the next 3 innings and then Brady Dragmire gave up another 2 runs in the final 2 innings.  Michael Saunders went 0 for 4 batting lead off.

The Lansing Lugnuts lost 9-4 against the Fort Wayne Tin Caps.  Lansing pitching gave up 19 hits to the opposition.  Every player in the Tin Cap lineup recorded at least 1 hit.  Edwin Moreno hit a 2 run home run off of Chase Mallard in the 2nd inning.  Mallard allowed 9 hits in 3.1 innings with 5 earned runs.  he recorded the lose.  Andrew Case also allowed 4 run in 2.2 innings to ensure the Tin Caps victory.  Anthony Alford recorded an RBI double for his only hit of the evening.  Some how Richard Urena was very productive for not recording a hit.  He recorded a sac fly and received 2 RBIs for the night.  Rowdy Tellez recorded the only other extra base hit on the evening with a double off of Taylor Aikenhead.  Aikenhead allowed all of the Lugnut runs in his 5 innings of work.
