After losing both games in a double header yesterday, the Toronto Blue Jays will take on the Cleveland Indians tonight. Toronto lost both games yesterday in two different ways. During game one, R.A. Dickey allowed 5 earn runs in only 4.1 innings with 5 walks. He was around the plate the entire game but he was noticeably frustrated with some of the calls he was getting. In game two we saw the bullpen taking over the game in the fifth inning but fell apart in the eighth inning by allowing 6 runs on 8 walks (and three wild pitches from intern closer Sergio Santos).

The consistently inconsistent Blue Jays enter Cleveland with a 8-8 record and will take on Justin Masterson. I’m sure the team is looking forward to playing at Progressive Field as it bring a drastic change in temperature. The Jays will go from playing in the snowing weather of Minnesota to relatively mild double-digit temperatures in Ohio. Although there is a small chance of rain fall near or at the start of the game.

Masterson is the staff ace in Cleveland and will opposed by Drew Hutchison who is looking to improve on his 1-1 record. Masterson is hoping to bounce back to form tonight as he has struggled in his last 2 games failing to make it through 5 innings and allowing a combined 8 walks. Hutchison is looking to build on his outing against a good-hitting Baltimore team. If he can stay somewhat consistent he can be the new Mark Buehrle.

Originally, Jose Reyes was supposed to be finished with his rehab assignment and join the club today, but will be back tomorrow for the second game of the series. Also worth noting, Colby Rasmus is back in center field for the first time since experiencing tightness in his hamstring.
