Thad Weber Sold to South Korean Team

Well the big moves of the off-season that we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived as reported by Shi Davidi.

That’s right, Thad Weber will be joining up with Eric Thames on the NC Dinos.  His picture is here for you in case you were unsure exactly who Weber was. We can rest easy knowing that in Korea he will be safe from Dan Duquette and any other Orioles ‘ personelle. I’m sure the Blue Jays will be able to replace the nine innings he provided for them in 2013 from somewhere in the organization.

The only real excitement in this deal is that the Jays now have 39 players on their 40 man roster which may be positioning them to make some sort of move, but who knows with the way Anthopolous operates. So don’t go holding your breath waiting for the other shoe to fall as this is likely all there is to this.
