As I mentioned in a tweet earlier, I didn’t have control of the remote today so only picked up the Blue Jays game in the top of the eighth.  And what I saw shocked me.  Rajai Davis taking a walk against a right-hander and the other team’s manager getting frustrated and tossed….unbelievable.   At least J.P. Arencibia tried to bring a dose of reality with a bases loaded pop up to right.

That win did the Jays no favours when it comes to drafting tomorrow’s ‘stars’.  It wasn’t a huge win per se, as most of the teams in the Jays record bracket also came out on top.

Philadelphia made the big move of the day, with another loss to the Mets.  A leap from fourteenth sees them now sitting in ninth, one place in front of our heroes of Toronto.

Unfortunately, the way the Jays are going, I can see them playing their way out of the top ten.
