Game 2: Cody Anderson (2-3, 4.30 ERA) vs Marco Estrada (11-8, 3.19 ERA)

Cody Anderson is doing ok in his rookie season. After 9 starts he has as good an ERA as knuckler R.A. Dickey  with a respectable WHIP of 1.11. He can be overpowering at times but he is still a rookie and with the way the Rogers Centre has been so far during this post trade deadline phenomenon it will be a little bit intimidating. It will be a great test of his poise and demeanour and will be a great game, good or bad, to look back upon and earn from.

Estrada. 10th in ERA. 2nd in BAA (.210). 9th in WHIP (1.09). He has made it look easy and was by no means a sure thing when the Blue Jays got him for Adam Lind. He is enjoying a true breakout season and to be able to do it in the tough AL East with command and poise rather than power is almost astonishing. The big question is….will he do it next year too?
