Dunedin Blue Jays @ Daytona Tortugas (Win 6-1)
A solid combined pitching effort and a night of good offense leads to a D-Jay win. Alonzo Gonzalez, Alberto Tirado, and Arik Sikula dominated the Tortugas as the combined to only allow 6 hits through 9 innings. They also struck out a total 10 Tortuga hitters. Gonzalez allowed the only run on a home run but still pitched great over 4 innings of work. The offense was driven by 4 select individuals who just lit up Tortuga pitching. Anthony Alford and Rowdy Tellez collected 2 hits and a double each. Alford scored 3 times and stole a base also. Christian Lopes had a huge night as he went 3-5 with 2 runs, a homer, and 2 RBI. Mitch Nay also collected an RBI and 3 hits.
