Lansing Lugnuts (32-23, 1st)
Lansing seems to be treading water this month. Win one, lose one, win one, lose one. They were downed 10-4 in this one.
Sean Reid-Foley wasn’t able to repeat his last strong outing, but continues to rack up the strike outs. He pitched 2IP allowed 5 run (one ER), walked 3 and struck out 5 as he was tagged with the loss and dropped to 2-2 with a 3.75 ERA…..19 years-old is an important number to remember when looking at Sean’s numbers.
Andrew Case pitched a perfect 2 innings before giving way to Chase Millard. Millard allowed 5 run over his 3 innings of work. Michael Kraft was able to stop the bleeding with a perfect 8th and 9th inning of work.
At the plate the Lugnuts recieved contributions from their All-Stars Rowdy Tellez, Ryan McBroom, and Tim Locastro, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the shaky performances from starters Reid-Foley and Chase Millard.
Tellez- 2-4 with a run scored
McBroom 1-3 with a run scored, a walk, and strikeout
Tim Locastro 3-4 with a run scored a homerun and an RBI
