Best Farm System

Again, the Blue Jays get a big boost from the jumps made by the likes of Dalton Pompey, Marcus Stroman, Aaron Sanchez, Daniel Norris, and Kendall Graveman, in addition to some solid growth by pitchers like Matt Boyd and Taylor Cole.

However, this is perhaps the toughest category to judge. The Boston Red Sox are often talked about as having one of the deepest systems in the game, with Owens, Johnson, Anthony Ranaudo, Matt Barnes, Mookie Betts, Garin Cecchini, Blake Swihart, and Deven Marrero all sitting in the high minors alone.

The Chicago Cubs are also featured here, and it is hard to argue with a system that has produced some of the most highly touted offensive products in the game, with the likes of Kris Bryant, Javier Baez, Arismendy Alcantara, and Jorge Soler either already in the Majors or on the cusp of it. Oh, and they also acquired Addison Russell from the Oakland Athletics.
