Marcus Stroman Arbitration Hearing:

It would appear that Marcus Stroman is slated to have his arbitration hearing at some point today after a Chris Archer tweet late last night. Archer accompanied Stroman and company to dinner and then responded to a tweet from Stroman replying “Pre Arb vibes. Tomorrow = post Arb vibes!!”. Jays Journal will have all the breaking details as they unfold.

 Kevin Pillar to appear on  R.B.I. Baseball cover:

R.B.I Baseball has decided to put a “superhero” on the cover of the Canadian version of their 2017 video game release. Kevin Pillar will grace the cover of consoles and devices this spring according to a tweet from @MLB.

Paul Beeston awarded Lifetime Achievement Award:

The former President of the Toronto Blue Jays Paul Beeston was awarded the Lifetime Achievement award at the Conn Smyth Celebrity Sports Dinner yesterday. Beeston also appeared on Prime Time Sports with Bob McCown- Give it a listen here:

The Blue Jays continued to shuffle and tinker with their 40-man roster yesterday in preparation for pitchers and catchers reporting next week. The Jays formally signed and added J.P. Howell and Joe Smith to their roster while designating A.J. Jimenez and Chad Girodo for assignment.

Martin preparing for opening day:

After Russell Martin was excluded from the Team Canada roster because of insurance coverage issues due to minor offseason knee surgery, the catcher posted some videos on social media to prove he is ready for opening day.
