Buffalo Bisons (52-46)   –   4

Dalton Pompey continued his recent surge, going 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI, a run scored, and his 13th stolen base of the season. This brings the centre-fielder’s batting average to .297 now that he’s back to full health. Darrell Ceciliani batted cleanup, going 2-for-5 with an RBI, while Chris Colabello went 0-for-5 with a strikeout in all five at-bats.

Chris Leroux had a tough outing, allowing six runs on five hits over five and two-thirds innings. Matt Dermody made his third Bisons appearance, pitching one and a third scoreless. Danny Barnes struck out the side in the eighth and Dustin Antolin pitched a clean ninth.

Reading Fightin Phils (66-31)   –   2

Jason Leblebijian is quickly becoming a legitimate asset for the Blue Jays, and last night he moved his average to .319 with a home run and two RBI. Christian Lopes went 2-for-4 out of the leadoff spot. Ian Parmley walked, scored, and stole his 13th base of the season.

Conner Greene got the start for New Hampshire, striking out five and allowing just two runs over six innings. Brady Dragmire pitched a clean seventh before John Stilson picked up the save, allowing one hit over two innings.

Jose Bautista hit a solo home run in his first at-bat rehabbing with the D-Jays, and is expected to join Buffalo for a three-game weekend series. Anthony Alford hit a home run and walked, while Gunnar Heidt hit a two run show.

Justin Shafer had another difficult start and currently owns a 6.13 ERA in 15 outings. The right-hander threw five and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on seven hits. Brad Allen took the loss, allowing three runs in three and a third.

Lansing Lugnuts (51-45)   –   0
Clinton LumberKings (59-37)   –   3

Despite eight hits, Lansing could not work a walk and was held scoreless. Max Pentecost bumped his average to .296, going 2-for-4. Andrew Guillotte and Connor Panas also went 2-for-4.

Angel Perdomo allowed three runs in five innings, striking out five. Ryan Cook delivered three scoreless innings and Jackson Lowery handled the ninth.

Spokane Indians (16-17)   –   7

J.B Woodman had a strong day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI. Mike Ellenbest allowed two earned runs over three innings in the start. Zach Jackson (1.0 IP), Andy Ravel (2.0 IP, ER), Matt Smoral (0.0 IP, 3 ER), Nick Hartman (1.2 IP, ER), and Stuart Holmes (0.1 IP) rounded out the relief effort.

Nash Knight stayed hot, going 2-for-4 with three RBI to keep his average at an impressive .420. Reggie Pruitt had a productive day, going 2-for-4 with three runs scored. Nick Sinay walked three times and scored twice.

Denis Diaz pitched six shutout innings, striking out three and allowing three hits. Jose Nova worked around two hits and two walks to toss a scoreless frame and Brayden Bouchey struck out four in two innings.
