Shaun Doyle provided fansided readers with a great update on how a couple of our guys did in a recent game this week in the Arizona Fall League, but those aren’t the only guys playing Fall/Winter ball. Let’s take a look at how the rest of the Jays down south are progressing.

Liga Mexicana del Pacifico

Venados de Mazatlan

2B Ryan Schimpf is en llamas in the Mexicana League. He has even been able to takes some walks over the past couple games and now has 7 in 13 games. He has hit .351/.457/.514 with a HR and 4 RBI in his past 10 games. Could Ryan’s strong Fall be enough to erase his poor 2014?

Naranjeros de Hermosillo

SS Jorge Flores has cooled off a little, hitting .258/.343/.323 with 3 walks and 9 strike outs in his past 10 games. He is striking out too much for a guy that doesn’t hit for much poor. Let’s hope that it’s just a bead week.

Aguilas Cibaenas

3B Andy Fermin just seem to land himself full-time reps. He has only appeared in one game, where he went 1 for 4. Hope he can get some regular AB’s moving forward.
