October 9th

Sean Nolin (@Sean_Nolin) made his first start of the Fall and pitched 2.0IP of no-hit ball. He walked one and struck out 2 before giving way to another Blue Jays prospect, Roberto Osuna (@RobertoOsuna1). Osuna didn’t fair to well as he gave up 6 hit, 6 earned runs in 1.1IP, while walking one and striking out 2. Osuna started his outing out with a clean inning, minus a single, but allowed a leadoff home run to Brandon Drury in the 4th,  two consecutive singles, a sac fly, a sac bunt, a wild pitch, and a pair of singles. That was the end of Roberto Osuna’s day.

With runners on 1st and 3rd, Arik Sikula (@ASikologist), another Blue Jays arm, come on to finish the inning. Arik promptly served up a base clearing double, but got the next two batters to end the inning.

The Blue Jays had one final arm make his AFL debute in the game, Blake McFarland. Blake came on in the 9th and gave up one hit and a walk on 14 pitches.

Jon Berti was the lone Blue Jays prospect to make an appearance, going 0/3. Berti was hit by a pitch in the first inning and put his great speed on display early with his second stolen base in as many games. Berti collected an RBI in the 3rd on a fielders choice. He would strike out and line out in his next two at-bats.
