Toronto Blue Jays Minor League Recap: Chase De Jong still winless

Brett Lawrie continues his rehab with a 1/4 game, Chase De Jong can’t get a break, top pitching prospects Sean Nolin and Daniel Norris turn in a pair of good performances, Kevin Pillar keeps on keeping on, and Sean Ochinko maybe rounding into form.

Buffalo Bisons (59-54)

It was a good day for forgotten prospect Sean Nolin. Nolin pitched five innings of one run ball. Steve Delabar pitched a perfect 8th…boy do we need him to right the ship. Kevin Pillar collected 2-hits and another stolen base……that is 8 in 8 games.

NH wins 7-1 on an outstanding pitching performance from Blue Jays #1 pitching prospect Danial Norris. Norris collected 8K’s in 6.2IP. He throw 62 or his 93 pitches for strikes and had a 6-3 GO/AO ratio, but he did allow a home run.

Ben White  bounced back from a terrible start last time out with 6.0IP strong, but still struggled to keep the ball on the ground allowing a home run. White’s GO/AO ratio was 5-9 on the day.
