Dustin McGowan takes the hill as the Toronto Blue Jays face their third American League East opponent of the season in the Baltimore Orioles.

McGowan struggled his last time out and allowed eight hits and four earned runs in just 2.2 innings against the New York Yankees. Retired hurler Mark Mulder noticed McGowan was tipping his pitches, which pitching coach Pete Walker confirmed after the game. However Walker also add “we’ve rectified this” so it should be interesting to see how McGowan fares tonight against a tough lineup and the Orioles ace, Chris Tillman.

Tillman has started the season strong and allowed just a single earned run in each of his two starts. Last year he threw his low-to-mid 90’s fastball 62% of the time while using his curveball (17%) and changeup (15%) similarly mixed in with the occasional cutter (h/t Brooks Baseball).

That’s all we have time for tonight folks as weather permitting the game is about to begin. Enjoy your weekend!
