Drew Hutchison takes the hill today for the Toronto Blue Jays against the New York Yankees and a slimmed down C.C. Sabathia. Hutch was good his last time out (5.1 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 4 K) while Sabathia was not (6 IP, 8 H, 6 ER, BB, 6 K).

Melky Cabrera will man center field for the Blue Jays, which is something was not fathomable last season. The Melk Man has been outstanding for the Blue Jays early and will hopefully be serviceable enough in center against the Yankees, who do hit a lot of line drives and kept Colby Rasmus busy in the first two games of this series.

Yet again, the Blue Jays will attempt to climb above .500, which has eluded them since June 26, 2013. A series win against the Yankees would be a great way to finish the weekend so let’s do this.
