Toronto Blue Jays – Draftboard Update – 08/09

Yikes, it’s been awhile since I’ve updated the draft board, but with the C’s down to a winner take all for the Northwest League Championship and the Jays actually deciding to go on a winning streak, I’ve been kept rather busy.

I have to admit, despite my desire for a high pick (higher than the guaranteed eleven they already have), it has been fun to watch the Jays over the last week or so.  Brett Lawrie is starting to look like he has the makings of a superstar third basemen.

Other than that, I have enjoyed watching Anthony Gose run.  He made a fantastic catch on Saturday, and his two triples this past week were something to behold.

So, as the chances of a top six pick fade into the darkness there is still positives than can be had.
