		<description>i like the signing because this along with santos and bringing frasor back not only strengthens the pen but also makes the starters better. like morrow discovered late in the season, you don&#039;t pace yourself to last but rather pitch hard on every pitch. now with a solid pen (at least on paper) this should encourage all of the starters to adopt the mindset that if they can go 6-7 innings the pen will nail down the W for them. i also agree with the trade deadline move with cordero also. that would bring in another ok prospect and enable carreno to come back up. and as far as adding another starter goes, maybe by july drabek , hutchison or mcguire will be that pitcher the jays &quot;obtain&quot;.</description>
