I am not convinced that a point X we will have all our young players and be able to go out and get a player or two to cement it alltogether. I believe it is a process where you got to keep on mixing and stirring. I heard many arguements about Fielder. I think it a huge mistake not to sign him. That ingredient of that ilk will not be available two years down the line.

It is interesting hearing Farrell mentioning Gose as a sleeper player to make it out of spring training, wouldn't be something to see Gose make the team out of spring training and force AA's hands in doing something with Rasmus. In a perfect world I would have to think is Gose in CF, Rasmus sliding over to LF. Now what a lineup the Jays would have- Gose CF (20), Escobar SS (28), Bautista RF (31), Lind 1B (29), EE DH (28), Rasmus LF (25), Lawrie 3B (21), Johnson 2B (29), Arencibia C (26). That is a line up built to succeed in the East. Then with a line up like this Snider, Thames, Marsinik could be used as trade bait. Or even have Marsinik come out of spring to play LF, and then Rasmus can be used as trade bait. All that AA has to do then is tweak his line up to make it a consistant contender, improve DH, improve 1B, 2 easy spots to fill. Nice thing with this line up is it is all internal fillings, no rushing by fans, just sit back and watch the talent compete in the East.
