IMHO, this is a year when The Blue Jays should give everybody a chance to play out the season, and make a thorough assessment of what they have. Plus, the farm system will be much more valuable by the end of this year, and it won't cost so much in terms of numbers to make up the same trade value. In addition, trading a player like Nestor Molina would not have hurt so much if there had been a few guys like McGuire, Hutchinson, et. al., pitching in AAA. After all, he's strong as an ox, and you only have to hit it so far before it's a home run. He would hit like crazy for a while, but gradually he would close up, and couldn't pick up the down and away stuff until it was too late. Back to AAA. He's trying to change something he's been doing his whole life, and it's not easy. Sooner or later, he's going to figure it out, and I sure hope he's a Blue Jay when he does!
