Prado would be a good fit for 2B next year, then a super-utility man ( Zobrist ) in 2013 when Hech moves up to the bigs.

JJ....don't think its a fit. We don't need any more competition for the bottom of our rotation. If we obtain a SP, its gotta be a #1 or 1A to go after Romero if we are going to compete in this division. We have to give our young arms a chance at the back end. Guys like Alveraz and Drabek need innings in order to reach their potential. We can't ruin these guys like we have with Snider!

Not to say he's done, but hitting him at the bottom of the lineup when he has always been a power hitter, with "protection" like Molina and Johnny Mac, is downright stupid. Why would you throw him a strike?? And then, everytime he struggles for a week, we send him to AAA. I'm not saying that his struggles haven't been his fault...all I'm saying why didn't they try to help him out a little. I mean let him hit behind Bautista for a couple weeks ( at least, instead of the usual " until he goes 0 for 4, then back to the minors") and tell him exactly why you're doing it. Give him the opportunity to excel in the 4-hole, and lets see what happens. How many years are we going to let LF be a question mark?? Lets see what he can do then we either have a legit starting LF, or trade bait. Anyway, ramblin

I would love for Prado to man the Jays' 2nd base next year. As for Jair, I thought he was gonna be one of the better pitchers in the league but it seems like his body wont hold up.
