		<description>No wonder that JB stumbled in the 2nd half. You have to be surrounded with good hitters to continually put up MVP numbers.  JB rarely got good pitches to hit as the opposing managers knew that they had a much better chance of getting out guys like Adam Lind, etc., etc.

Other than EE, who had a really good run for a couple of months, there was nobody to worry about in the Jays lineup. You certainly should not have to put a rookie(Brett Lawrie) in the 4 or 5 hole with all the pressure that brings.

Can you imagine what numbers JB would have put up if he had a Prince Fielder or a Matt Kemp hitting behind him!!
