@chewbacca i was just trying to rationalize it for you, but just saying since the allstar break EE has been putting up the same slash line as Napoli's season line, All im saying is having 2 all offence no defence type of players is redundant. If you want Marcum for the next 3 years over Lawrie for the next 15 then id like whatever youre smoking.and Francisco had a bad couple of appearances the last few days but he didnt allow a run in August, and he still strikes out a batter per inning, he has been inconsistant but he is decent i never made it seem as though he was incredible or even reliable but just a decent option in the pen.

Napoli would have been our DH, ,maybe platoon with EE, who would be first off the bench with spot 1b, 3b, DH duties.

Marcum has 3 good years left in him. Frankie decent? Can I have some of what you're smoking?

@chewbacca chewy i dont think you can call the rasmus trade a loss, with rasmus not even getting a months worth of at bats. He'll be fine. The johnson trade was because hill was faling out of flavor and we added a draft pick, therefore not a loss. The napoli trade was a gamble but JP needed at-bats and Frankie has been a decent option out of the pen and he might net us a pick. Lawrie has tremendous upside Marcum is 30 and having probably a career year at a time when we are not competing.

question: how many trades did AA come on top of?

Did we win the Lawrie trade? Guess a full season needed for that. Marcum is brilliant for the brew crew.

I think we lost the FrankieFrankFrank trade for Napoli.

I think we may have lost the Hill/McDonald trade for Johnson too.

Did we lose the Stewart for Rasmus trade, with half our bullpen thrown in for good measure?
