@TheSportsLoop

I agree Escobar has been SUPER!

However - I think the kid is two plates of spaghetti with meatballs away from being a 2nd baseman. This guys range is FALLING by the day. IF he gets to the postal code of the ball - he makes the kill - but - it is obvious just watching him - especially to his right - that his days as an elite defender are fast approaching.

As to his bat - WOW - simply WOW. And I strongly suspect - with his size - he'll have a year or two with 25 dingers as well. I'm ready to see us bring up Ozzie Smith at SS (Hechavarria) and move Yunel to 2nd.

Rasmus in CF, Lawrie at 3rd, Hech at SS, Yunel at 2nd and either JPA or d'A at catcher and we've more than enough offense and FANTASTIC defense galore "up the middle." Just the way you build champions.

I've been saying it for a while now and I think people are starting to agree. Escobar is the best middle infielder we've had since Robbie Alomar and is a HUGE part of this team moving forward. A brilliant trade by AA that is overlooked by many.

Great post as always guys. Keep up the good work.
