I'm pumping for Adam Loewen to be promoted, simply because he can be more versatile than Cooper at this point. He can make an easy conversion to First Base to back up Lind, so he could be a replacement for one of Davis, Patterson, or EE, should they move on mid-season. @Mylegacy

I'm pretty sure the Jays announced back in April that Dustin was on a reliever track. I imagine he is starting on his rehab assignment so they can control his pitch count better, and to build up arm strength.

Why does Marcus Knecht not make this list? The kid is leading his Lansing A team in average, hits, OBP and SLG.

Nicolino: Serious helium. Great signing.

Cooper: The question is - Does Cooper or Loewen come up to platoon with EE at DH? Personally, I'd like to see Loewen get the first shot at it.

Carreno: The guy has been - and continues to be - a freakin' strikeout machine. If the walks can be controlled he looks to be a potential very pleasant surprise.

d'Arnaud: Now that his back is back - so to speak - we're getting a view of what many scouts think may be the best catching prospect in all of baseball. The kid has EVERYTHING except prodigious power. I think he has a chance to be a Molitor like hitter in a gold glove catchers body. Wow - serious helium.

McDade: A switch hitter, pretty even from both sides. His worse case ceiling is an everyday DH.

McGuire: Looking every bit the solid number 3 or 4 starter he looked like when drafted. Could be a solid back of rotation guy for a decade.

McGowan: Oh - man - I just pray he makes a career of it in any capacity. A great guy we're all cheering for. The guy's had more struggles than most of us could imagine.

Marisnick: He's Gose without the razzle dazzle. His advantage is he may have a slightly better "bat" tool. His downside is that Gose is a force of nature - who I just don't see failing. His worse case scenario is battling Sierra, Thames, Sinder for a corner spot - or - more likely an almost PERFECT fourth outfielder that can play all three outfield positions.

Rollins: A college LHP from Texas. At this point 2011 "college" level pitchers in the low minors have to prove - at higher levels - that they've got what it takes to get higher level guys out. David is a 24th rounder. He's got to keep producing. IF - he does - then maybe. Now - I'm not impressed.

Wojciechowski: Got to see quite a bit more "good" before he looks like a serious prospect. However, he IS a prospect - just not a helium guy - not yet anyway.

Sanchez: WAY too early to praise or condemn. Still has everything we want - except control. Hopefully - that will come.

Nessy: One of my favorites. Short - fat - good to even better than good catcher - could he be our own in house Molina? You can never have too many Molina's - even if they're named after a Scottish Sea Monster!

Beck: The guy has got to do it NOW. He's quietly been better than OK quite often. I think he's a SERIOUS prospect for the pen.

Cardona: Another helium Baby Jay - with the emphasis on the Baby part. Very young - VERY promising.
