I could see that, though Bautista is getting older, he's 30. Thames is only, what, 24? Same for Snider, all have plus defensive abilities, except MAYBE Snider. Though, before he was at first, Lind was a part time DH, and he isn't the best defensively. I think since Bautista is getting older and We have two prospects, prospect growth should be a priority, ESPECIALLY to a rebuilding team. Part time DHing can be detrimental to a young player's defensive growth.

Nice to see a fan on the Jo-Jo needs to Go-Go wagon. He wrecked Mother's day for me and my Mom, which totally sucks, and I'm seriously starting to consider wanting Tallet back over him. We could be contenders, though next year seems a bit more likely. Still, anything is possible, and we have been playing quite well as of late. Sorry for the long post.

@Jays2011--Yeah, that's what they will do, DH one of the best RF's in the game!!! Try again!! Whether later this year or next, the line-up could look something like this:

Davis CF
Escobar SS
Batista RF
Lind 1B
Lawrie 3B
Snider LF/DH
Arencibia C
Thames LF/DH
Hill 2B

If they all reach their potential, what a line-up we will have. Add our very good bullpen, lose Jo Jo, and we could contend this year....IMHO!!

I think we could DH Bautista, bench E5 or EE, whatever you want to call him, shift Thames to right, and put Snider in left.
