Mat,

It's as good a stretch as we have seen from Gose since the trade to the Jays. I personally liked the trade and liked challenging Gose at AA this year even more. I think we have some of our best coaching in the minor league system in Sal Fasano and his team. Gose, D'Arnaud & Hech will all learn the fundamentals together as well as learn about each others game as they rise through the system.

Starting CF by 2012 ? I really don't think a ten game hitting stretch supports that claim, but I think its a good sign, and a sign that Rajai's 2013 option may not get picked up, but even if it did, the potential Gose shows would defenitly be worth waiting until 2014 for. Im still not a believer in Goses bat, but as you say he is still very young and has all the time to prove doubters wrong. Good write up as always !

I'd like to see the increased walks and SB% persist through June before I say he's ready to move on. However, it is nice to see him have a hot streak and I like the general trend.

TY for the great info and comments. Grab the best athlete a la Fernandez, Moseby, Alomar, and White was Gillick's stock in trade, and looks to be AA's as well. It beats "Richardi Ball" every time.

Mat

Another good report!

No question Gose's growing maturity as a player is intriguing. Similar to Lawrie, he is beginning to show results at a level well above where his age peers are.

Lawrie, Thames, Gose, Marisnick, Cooper, d'Arnaud, Perez, Jiminez, Snider (still only 23) - we're beginning to get a stable of thoroughbreds - yummy.
