How important was it for him to see how great an influence someone like Vernon Wells could be solely based on his leadership skills and community commitments? I think it's something that will stay with him the rest of his career, and it will make him a better leader as a result. While Snider still has more to learn from the veterans, he's impressed me with his attitude and maturity. He's also been around the team long enough to be a good guide to some of the younger players (who are, of course, mainly older than him).
