I really love his game. I agree with Mylegacy when he may have to move positions because of the log jam we have at catcher, its a shame seeing how great he is defensively.

I think he will develop power seeing how he is only 20 right now, and he put up solid 2B numbers in only 70 games.

Hopefully he avoids injuries this season, and really progresses in Dunedin

It's really incredible how the catching position has become so dominant in the Jays system, and more than in any other system in MLB.

With his LoA manager Sal Fasano headed for AA New Hampshire, a quick promotion to AA may be in order sometime in 2011, particularly if injuries occur.

I'm going to post something about the depth soon, but wanted to give a huge thumbs up to Jimenez here, as he really earned this ranking in 2010. How he performs in AA once he gets there, however, will be the test that either makes or breaks him. I bet on makes him.

Still, you have expect that Alex Anthopoulos will include some of his depth in trade talks. There are a ton of teams in MLB who who love to have the issues the Jays will have will all of these catchers coming up the ranks. What a luxury!

Ironically - he might be the best catcher we've got and yet may be the one who has to take off the tools of ignorance and move to another position. Unfortunately, the guy is also an excellent athlete and could play damn near any position.

To quote Lilly Van Whatzhername in Blazing Saddles - "Vot a guy!".
