Well, talk about be 100% accurate! When I stated in this piece that "Something in the range of $7.25 million for the 2-years ($3.5 for one year and $3.75 for the next) would surely get things done", I had no idea that it would be the exact figures used to get it done. The terms are slightly different, however, since the second season is a club option. Still, I'm very happy the Jays are keeping Frasor around. He's earned it!

Agreed. The Jays owe him either a multi-year deal. Ken Rosenthal just reported that the Jays traded the napoli for the rights to frank francisco, another potential closer. This deal complicates matters and seems to indicate at first glance that the jays may be exploring potential trade options for frasor. Or maybe their just tooling up their bullpen because AA thinks we have a chance to compete. Who knows with AA anymore, he's always got some trick up his sleeve.
