I’m part of the nay sayers AA’s first mistake. This does not move the team forward and with the Red Sox, Twins, Rangers and all getting stronger I don’t see the Yankees stepping back by 10+ games. I also don’t see this team moving forward.
All this amounts to is Rogers cutting payroll and padding profits.

After further review, I may have been a little harsh with my remarks about EE on an earlier post (Re Relief Options).

Based on his previous production, it is quite reasonable to expect stats in the neighbourhood of 255/325/510 with 26 HRs

Remember how EE improved when we brought him back up – well – I think knowing he’s going to get 550 to 600+ at bats as a DH/1st/3rd he’ll be trying to prove he’s the man. And – he just might be to the tune of: 260/320/495 32 homers. There are worse things.
