The Braves and others should be looking to fill 1B soon and any trade will depend on how much salary the other team is taking on. I don't think there's any doubt that Jays management want to bring Wallace up as soon as all is clear in Toronto at 1B, they just can't give away something of value like a quality defensive 1B with decent career numbers without getting any return as they try to build. I'd say that within the next 2-3 weeks the Jays will begin making a few key moves involving reliever(s) and Lyle. Has there been much talk about when Wallace will be promoted? Obviously, he still needs some work with the glove, but that bat would be an immediate upgrade over Overbay.
