Of course we want to keep the younger guys if we can, but like I've said before, I think EE is better against RHP, so this lineup could work long terms when LHP is up. EE then slides back in versus RHP. The Jays have also played Sean Ochinko at 3B this spring, which makes him a candidate for the future job, but I like the fact that you bring up Pierre - and I'll add Fuenmayor to the list. Either of thos two youngsters can still develop into much better players than people expect. I'm curious to see where they'll play Pierre, because if they do switch him to 2B as you suggest, that would take a lot of pressure off his bat. The OF might change quite a bit over the next 2 years, other than Snider that is. I think the Jays will either try to snag a guy like Revere through trade, or will aggressively bid for a Jayson Werth type player in FA. Marisnick is still very young, but he does seem like a great option for 2012 or so. In any case, we can see that in 1-2 years, the Jays will have some tough decisions to make. A healthy EE entering his prime might just contribute more over the next - lets say, five years - than a 32 year old over achiever will in the next five or so months. Nonetheless - I'd love for EE to start the season on the DL and for Randy to FORCE him to stay there. On 3rd base - I still say it's Hills position in a few years.
