Hey Sam, it's funny you should mention this now, because I'm working on a piece about the coaching throughout the organization that I planned to bring out after going through the scouting. Bu any means, if you have inside or extra information to contribute please let me know!

As for Lansing, it's definitely my intention to maintain constant relations with them and their players and to do the same for the GCL, HiA Dunedin, and AA New Hampshire. It seems to me that once they get to AAA you pretty well have a good idea of what you're getting, especially with the Jays who tend to bring in so many MLB veterans, so I intend to focus on those areas.

I may expand on the coaching post and do one simply for Sal and his possible impact on guys like Carlos Perez and Sean Ochinko ect..

Thanks for the comment and the heads up as well, much appreciated.

Cheers,

This is my first time visiting your site. My interest is purely based on the fact that a friend of mine has been signed to manage one of your minor league teams. Though this is the LoA-Lansing team, I still could see that you are very well-informed and diligent about your coverage. Unfortunately, I didn't see anything written about Sal Fasano. The article discussing your top Catching prospects didn't even mention the new skipper for the Lugnuts.

I can understand that the primary interest of your readers is to follow the production of the guys who play the game, but I would also assume you can appreciate the impact of signing of a guy acknowledged as a gifted instructor both for pitchers and catchers.

I'm biased of course, but I will continue to read your blog and look forward to your coverage of the Lugnuts.
